The Nuclear Weapons Abolition Reading Room was originally founded to serve
the Pacific Northwest and now is national. On occasion the book club has had
the extraordinary opportunity to host authors such as Timmon Wallis, the
author of 'Nuclear Abolition: A Scenario' and William D. Hartung, the author
(with Ben Freeman) of 'The Trillion Dollar War Machine: How Runaway Military
Spending Drives America into Foreign Wars and Bankrupts Us at Home'.

Sponsored by Physicians for Social Responsibility, Washington PSR, and
Northwest Against Nuclear Weapons, the club meets monthly via Zoom on the
3rd Tuesday of the month. New members are always welcome.

To quote the founder, Dan Worthen: "We believe that our book club, being
devoted specifically to the worldwide elimination of nuclear weapons, is the
only one of its kind in the nation."
